With our properties we play a direct role in helping to shape the lives of many people – as the places where they live and work, or as meeting zones in public spaces.
This is why we are always optimising our portfolio in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria. It is our ambition to create added value for our tenants, the local area, the environment, and our investors.
We have defined a sustainability strategy that sets out the principles and strategic direction for the sustainable management of our real estate portfolio.
We conducted a materiality analysis to assess sustainability issues and defined and formulated the issues prioritised as sustainability targets. This process identified 15 topics that are material for us. The relevant sustainability issues are spread equally across the economy, the environment, social responsibility, and governance. In 2022, the focus fell on seven topics. So that the defined targets can be achieved, measures have been defined for all sustainability targets. The effectiveness of measures implemented is monitored, reviewed, and documented. We will communicate progress on sustainability to shareholders on an annual basis.
